Register now for the DFB Junior Coach

The DFB Junior Coach Course is a nationwide qualification initiative of the German Football Association, which is aimed at pupils and aims to train future junior coaches. The course takes place at various locations in Berlin and is organized in cooperation with the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family. Accordingly, time off from teaching is supported.

Insight into the world of coaches

The program is aimed at soccer enthusiasts aged 15 and over and forms the first stage of coach training. In addition to teaching the technical content of soccer coaching, there is a special focus on personal development. Participants learn how to work in a team and take on social responsibility. In addition to the basics of coaching children, the curriculum also includes topics such as conflict management and first aid.

The aim of the course is to attract young coaches to Berlin soccer. After completing the course, the participants should gain initial experience as coaches of youth teams in Berlin soccer, as well as the prospect of acquiring a C license. The willingness to continue volunteering after completing the DFB Junior Coach course is therefore a basic requirement for participation.

An overview of the dates

There are a total of seven dates on which interested parties can take part. These include a "girls-only" course, which is exclusively open to girls. In addition, a digital part on Edubreak is mandatory for the first time this year.
