One of the central points of the BFV mission statement is not merely descriptive, but rather the BFV's self-imposed obligation to meet, support and promote Berlin's amateur clubs. The club development aspect therefore includes the club dialog and board meeting formats, which are intended to listen to the concerns of the clubs. On the other hand, the association's club advisors (so-called "DFB club advisors") are also on site at individual clubs and serve as contacts and mediators for specific issues. All member clubs of the association are entitled to the support of the club advisors free of charge.
