The men's, senior men's, women's, futsal and recreational league match operations as well as the registration department report to the Match Committee. These areas are represented on the Match Committee by the respective referees and other members.

In accordance with the statutes, the Match Committee has the following tasks:

• Responsibility for all match-related matters, with the exception of matters relating to youth and referees, in particular the regulation of all match operations
• Selecting, setting up and supervising the selection teams, including training courses, in coordination with the association sports coach and the management of the state performance center
• Issuing penalties in accordance with the rules of the match regulations
• Approving matches between member clubs and external teams in accordance with DFB regulations
• Holding working meetings, including in preparation for the upcoming association meeting
• Carrying out administrative tasks assigned to it by the Presidium
• Fulfilling representational tasks as instructed by the Executive Committee
• Supporting the development of future-oriented soccer
