The Berlin Football Association is the largest professional sports association in the German capital. Due to its position in society, the BFV sees itself as having a special responsibility to uphold the integrity and reputation of soccer.

The BFV is committed to good association management. In order to effectively fulfill its responsibilities both internally and externally, the BFV is committed to compliance as a key prerequisite for joint success. With the BFV's Compliance Management System (CMS), the association aims to anchor ethical and compliant behavior within the association and in its work in the long term. It acts in accordance with a so-called Code of Ethics, which is intended to strengthen trust in the work of the BFV and serve as a role model for the member clubs. The basic principles and values are mutual respect, tolerance and dignity, while at the same time disapproving of discrimination of any kind.
