The tasks and objectives of the Social Responsibility Committee are set out in the Articles of Association:

• Ensuring the point of contact for safety concerns and implementing prevention measures to ensure safe and non-violent gaming operations
• Ensuring the contact point in terms of child and youth protection and implementing measures to achieve child and youth protection goals
• Promoting measures for equality and participation of all social groups in soccer in Berlin
• Identifying discrimination in Berlin soccer, supporting those affected and implementing measures for equal treatment
• Developing peaceful coexistence between the various soccer clubs based here and promoting the integration of different cultures through soccer as well as supporting clubs with a predominantly migrant membership in association, statutory and legal matters
• Ensuring the participation and involvement of people with disabilities in soccer in Berlin and promoting the idea of inclusion
• Ensuring strong volunteer structures in Berlin soccer by promoting measures to recruit, recognize and qualify volunteers
• Promoting and strengthening fair play by raising awareness, activating and qualifying all those involved in soccer
• Actively working and advocating for the implementation of sustainable action in social, ecological and economic terms in all areas accessible to it
• Development and implementation of alternative sanction measures in coordination with the sports jurisdiction and creation of preventative training programs in the sense of de-escalation, conflict mediation and anti-violence concepts
• Reduction of and education on the use of addictive substances and provision of a contact point for addiction prevention
• Implementation of special training courses in the context of social responsibility in cooperation with the qualification department
• Promoting open and transparent dealings between the association and clubs
• Organ of the BFV's compliance organization
