At the Extraordinary Association Congress in November 2024, it was decided to adjust the payment procedure for referees' expenses (detailed information on the new expense payment model). From August 8, 2025, the BFV will only pay out expenses for championship matches scheduled in DFBnet. For all other matches, such as cup matches, friendlies, tournaments, etc., expenses will be paid out in cash on site as before.
Each referee and assistant referee must then confirm their attendance and thus their "request" for payment of expenses in DFBnet after the match. This happens independently of the release of the match report. In order for the expenses to be transferred, each referee must enter bank details in DFBnet.
