Every weekend, the BFV's anti-discrimination contact point receives reports of incidents of discrimination. Discrimination and racism are a major problem in amateur soccer. According to our statistics, the incidents mainly happen directly on the pitch between players against players. Coaches, with their influence on the game and players, are therefore an enormously important component in the work against discrimination, both as potential supporters of those affected directly on the pitch and as multipliers of knowledge. In order to take on this responsibility and develop the ability to act, continuous training and reflection on one's own role is essential.
To this end, the Berlin Football Association, in collaboration with Zusammen1, is offering a free workshop on racism-critical coaching work as part of the DFB and NOFV project "Football time is the best time against racism". This can be credited as further training for B and C license coaches with three learning units (LE).

The workshop focuses on teaching the basics of racism in soccer and covers the following topics
