On August 25, 2025, the Saxon Football Association (SFV) and the North-East German Football Association (NOFV) are hosting an online event on the topic of democracy in sports clubs. The evening will focus on current challenges between political neutrality, legal security and active communication of values in the club.
Between neutrality and attitude
How can a stance be taken without becoming legally vulnerable? Are there clear boundaries when members violate basic democratic values? And how do you deal with anti-democratic tendencies in the club environment? Together with Nina Reip, Democracy Promotion Officer at the DOSB, answers will be found to these and other questions.
Representatives of all NOFV clubs and associations are cordially invited to this free online event. It will take place on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 18:30 to 20:30.
