Last Saturday, March 14, 2026, the annual BFV Volunteer Day took place. This year, the event was held in the concert hall of the Siemensvilla with the support of the BSP Business & Law School. BFV President Bernd Schultz opened the event with a welcoming speech and then carried out the honors together with Ingo Büchner-Fenner, State Volunteer Commissioner.

BFV Volunteer Day 2026: Well-deserved recognition
Young volunteer campaign, special award "Football heroes":
These young volunteers received the special "Football Heroes" award and are going on an educational trip to Santa Susanna in Spain in September at the invitation of the DFB and KOMM MIT:

Special award for girls' soccer:
Marie Theres Husken also received the special award for girls' soccer for her commitment to girls' soccer.
A total of around 60 volunteers were honored at this year's BFV Volunteer Day. At the end of the day, all those honored went to the Berlin Olympic Stadium for the Bundesliga match between Hertha BSC and VfL Bochum.
The Berlin Football Association would like to thank all the volunteers for their commitment to soccer in Berlin.
