Society is constantly evolving and Berlin, as a driving force of social change in Germany, reflects this dynamic. Despite these developments, there is still an underrepresentation of girls and women in Berlin's club landscape, both on and off the pitch. The BFV recognizes the need to counteract this imbalance.

The BFV has launched various projects (e.g. ALLE KICKEN MIT and Ready. Set. Coach.) and initiatives in its efforts to play a pioneering role as the capital's association. These are not only about promoting women's and girls' teams in match operations, but also about the targeted training and integration of women in various roles. The vision is clear: equal participation in club committees and empowerment for women and girls in Berlin soccer.

Raising awareness of the underrepresentation of women and targeted countermeasures through projects and initiatives are not just a local concern, but contribute to positive change throughout German soccer. The BFV strives to be a role model for other regional associations by demonstrating how an inclusive and equal soccer landscape can be created through an open-minded attitude and concrete measures. With the goal of equality, the BFV actively works to overcome barriers and strengthen the participation of girls and women in all facets of soccer.
