The COSY-WASCH State Cup for men's 1st division is heading into the semi-finals and has some exciting matches in store. On Easter Monday, April 21, BSV Eintracht Mahlsdorf will host BFC Preussen, while VSG Altglienicke will play BFC Dynamo at the Sportforum. Both matches will be covered by the BFV via Instagram story and video post-match report.
Cup clash on the Rosenhang
The battle for a place in the final kicks off at 13:00 on the Am Rosenhag sports ground. BSV Eintracht Mahlsdorf will face BFC Preussen. Both teams are familiar with each other from the NOFV-Oberliga Nord, where Mahlsdorf are in third place and Preussen in first. While Mahlsdorf recently boosted their confidence in the league with a double-digit 11-0 win over Rostocker FC, the visitors from Lankwitz travel to their league rivals with confidence, having not lost a competitive match in the calendar year 2025. An exciting duel at eye level is guaranteed.
Regional league teams among themselves
The second semi-final of the day between BFC Dynamo and VSG Altglienicke at 4:00 p.m. is another clash between two league rivals. Both regional league clubs are in sixth and seventh place in the table ahead of Easter with a points haul of 44 points. The two teams already met in league action at the beginning of April - with the better end for BFC Dynamo, who won the match 3:0.
While BFC won 3:0 at S.D. Croatia in the quarter-finals, Altglienicke had to tremble for a long time in the "match of the day" to reach the semi-finals at Berlin league team Spandauer Kickers, and only prevailed in a penalty shoot-out. Whether it will be another cup thriller will be revealed on Monday afternoon at the Sportforum.
Who will reach the final?
Both matches promise pure excitement. Anyone who wants to follow the path of both finalists in the semi-final is cordially invited to watch live on site or via the BFV channels.
