The Registration Team at the Berlin Soccer Association is now also available by phone on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. without the need to schedule an appointment. Club representatives can simply call the usual phone number (030 89 69 94 - 110) during this time.
The BFV is thus introducing a second option, in addition to Thursdays (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), during which the relevant staff members from the Competition and Sports Department can be reached without an appointment.
An overview of the new regular office hours for player registration
With the transfer window coming to a close, three additional availability dates have been added:
Friday, August 28, 2026, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 29, 2026, 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Monday, August 31, 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Balancing Availability and Same-Day Processing
“The phone availability of the Competition and Sports Department—specifically the Registration Team—has been a recurring topic of feedback from clubs in recent months. We’ve heard the criticism and want to be more accessible to our clubs,” says Sebastian Soika, who has served as head of the Competition Operations and Sports Department at the Berlin Soccer Association since March 2026. “We know how important it is to have a quick and straightforward line of communication with us, especially during busy periods like the transfer window. With these additional hours, we aim to meet that need.”
At the same time, the department feels it is important to emphasize why availability isn’t being expanded even further: The clubs are accustomed to having transfer applications processed on a daily basis. The more time allocated for phone support, the less capacity remains for the prompt processing of the applications themselves. “Both are important to us—being easily reachable and continuing to process your applications on a daily basis. The new hours are a deliberate first step toward balancing these two priorities,” explains Soika.
