Girl's Day (Cup) 2026

On April 23, 2026, the Berlin Football Association opened its doors for Girls' Day. On this special day, eight schoolgirls were given an exciting insight into the association, the area of sports management and the ALLE KICKEN MIT project.

The day began at around 09:30 with the classic "two truths, one lie" introduction. Afterwards, the eight participants embarked on a special journey through the Berlin Football Association, which consisted of several stops:

At the beginning, the participants were given an insight into the BFV. They learned about the structure, values and some of the tasks of the association and found out how many different areas work together to organize and develop soccer operations. The rest of the trip focused on the ALLE KICKEN MIT project. Here, the students were introduced to various qualification opportunities for girls* and women* in soccer. It became clear how important support, participation and equal opportunities are in sport. Another stop was presented by Nejla, one of the BFV's dual students. She talked about studying sports management and career opportunities in sport. The participants were given an overview of the paths they can take and the prospects open to them. The final stop was the journey into the students' personal futures. They discussed their own wishes and goals and looked to the future. They recorded these in a wish jar and also wrote a letter to their future selves.

In the afternoon, things got practical and active: the girls were allowed to organize and run the Girls' Day Cup on their own. Several school teams from ALLE KICKEN MIT took part in this tournament. Each of the Girls' Day participants took on a specific task and took on their own area of responsibility. The Girls' Day Cup took place at the Wannsee stadium and brought a lot of joy and smiles to everyone involved. The schoolgirls worked together with commitment and successfully mastered their tasks.

Overall, Girls' Day at the Berlin Football Association was a varied and educational journey with many exciting stops. The day offered valuable insights into the world of sport and showed the schoolgirls new perspectives for their future. It was a successful day that everyone involved will remember for a long time to come.
