Submit creative ideas and win the Innovation Award

"Together, we are further developing amateur soccer to strengthen cohesion in Berlin." Malte Schruth (BFV Presidential Member for Innovation, Club and Association Development and Qualification) and his team launched the Berlin Football Innovation Award with this goal in mind.

The aim is to submit, collect and award prizes for innovative ideas for the future of soccer in the capital. The aim is to further strengthen the dialog on the future of amateur soccer in Berlin and, in the best case, to initiate innovative implementations with the help of start-up funding.

Focus: Recruitment and retention of volunteers

This year, the focus is on the category of volunteer recruitment and retention. The idea can concern your own club, the association or, for example, politics. It does not have to be currently being implemented. There are no specifications regarding the form or scope of the idea, only the evaluation criteria of creativity, feasibility, goal orientation and thoughtfulness should be taken into account. Total prize money of up to 5,000 euros

A total prize money of up to 5,000 euros will be paid out. The BFV will keep the distribution among the winning ideas open depending on the number and quality of the ideas submitted. The payment can only be made to a member club of the Berlin Football Association and is to be understood more as a start-up aid than as complete financing of the ideas submitted.
