The first of these is already this week, as the quarter-finals are scheduled for 11 and 12 March 2026. The clash between Berolina Mitte and B.W. Hohen Neuendorf on Thursday, March 12, will be accompanied by the BFV as "Match of the Day". Match of the day: Floodlit spectacle in Mitte
Berlin League leaders challenge regional league side
Floodlit romance with a direct view of the Berlin TV tower on one of the city's most atmospheric sports grounds - spectators can expect nothing less on Thursday evening. But it's not just the setting, but also the sporting constellation that promises a soccer treat: The leaders of the Berlin League will host the tenth-placed team in the Regionalliga Nordost.
Berolina Mitte are having a strong season in the BFV's top division, remaining unbeaten in 15 games with two draws. With 41 points and a goal difference of 69:7 goals, they logically greet from the top of the Berlin League table. The Berlin champions from Hohen Neuendorf, meanwhile, are fighting to stay in the regional league. With two wins and two draws from 13 games, the team from the Brandenburg district of Oberhavel currently occupies tenth place in the table. Despite the difference in class, spectators can therefore expect a close encounter, especially as the last two duels in the 2024/2025 Berlin League season both ended in a 2-2 draw.
