U12 juniors: Joint training course with Thuringian selection

In May 2025, a special training course was on the agenda for the Berlin U12 juniors: a two-day training and match weekend was organized together with the Thuringia team at the Wannsee location - with lots of fun, variety and a valuable exchange between the two state associations.

Tournament kick-off with many highlights

The first day started with a varied tournament in a small group format, in which three mixed teams from each association competed against each other. The forms of play allowed for a lot of ball action, creative solutions and a large number of goals worth seeing. The young players took the opportunity to show their courage in 1v1, combine with each other and gain important experience in intense duels.

In the afternoon, the sporting part was complemented by a joint supporting program: during a photo challenge and a fun quiz, the players were able to chat, laugh and make new friends off the pitch - a valuable part of the course that further strengthened the sense of community.

Two victories and strong performances on the second day

On the second day of the course, two parallel matches were on the agenda. Both Berlin teams impressed with concentrated performances and great commitment - and deserved to win their matches. The progress in teamwork and the courageous performance of the players were clearly visible and rounded off a successful training day.

A weekend full of impressions and development

The joint training course was characterized by openness, commitment and enthusiasm - on and off the pitch. Special thanks go to the Thuringian Football Association for the excellent cooperation and successful exchange at all levels.

Association sports coach Lukas Fechner was very satisfied: "It was a great course with lots of positive impressions. The players impressed us with their enthusiasm, their ambition and their openness to new ideas. It was great to see how enthusiastic they were - and what talent they have within them."
