Now that the adult teams have already kicked off, the 2025/2026 league season has also begun for the A-juniors. SC Borsigwalde will host Frohnauer SC in the opening match of the Berlin League on Friday, September 19. The match kicks off at 19:00 on the Ernststraße sports ground (Tietzstr. 33-41, 13509 Berlin). The match will be refereed by Ricardo Scheuerer.

A-Juniors: Borsigwalde welcomes Frohnau for the opener
Cup successes as encouragement
Even before the start of the league, both teams were able to beat district league teams in the Nike Youth Cup and gain confidence. SC Borsigwalde attracted attention with a goal festival: the team celebrated a 13:0 victory at FV Blau-Weiss Spandau. Frohnauer SC also mastered their task with aplomb, winning 3:1 at VfB Einheit zu Pankow.
The opening match will be a floodlit clash between two teams who played each other in close games last season. After a 2-2 draw in the first leg, Borsigwalde narrowly won the second leg 1-0. This time, too, there are many signs of an evenly-matched encounter in which both teams will fight for the first points of the new season.
