Register and score points: Walking football course at the BFV

The Berlin Football Association is offering a pilot course for anyone interested in walking football. The course is aimed at coaches, trainers and anyone who would like to get to know walking football and integrate it into their club.

Walking football is an age-appropriate, health-oriented version of soccer that does not involve running and has adapted rules for tackling and the height of the ball, among other things. The focus is on fairness, community and exercise - an offer especially for older people or people with restricted mobility.

Insight into a new form of soccer

The course teaches the basic rules and organizational forms of walking football. The aim is to give participants the necessary knowledge and confidence to offer or develop walking football independently in their club.

The course runs from October 24 to November 14, 2025 and is conducted using the blended learning method. This means that it starts with a digital phase (October 24 to November 6, 2025), during which the tasks can be worked on flexibly with free time management. This will be followed by a face-to-face phase on November 7 and 8, 2025 at the Wannsee Sports School. Accommodation and meals are already included in the price.
