Berlin U14 juniors secure first place at the NOFV regional tournament

The Berlin U14 juniors celebrated a successful performance at this year's NOFV regional tournament in Lindow at the beginning of November. With three wins from three games, the Berliners confidently secured first place and impressively demonstrated a mature performance.

The players were asked to develop individual technical solutions and tactical decisions in the relevant areas of the pitch. The aim was to train the players to act under pressure, promote speed of action and deepen their understanding of the demands of the large pitch game.

From the very first game, the Berlin players showed commitment, enthusiasm and discipline. The courageous continuation of play was particularly noticeable: the players actively sought solutions, took responsibility and showed a growing understanding of group tactics. Clear developmental steps were visible in all parts of the team, both in decision-making under pressure from opponents and in teamwork and individual areas of focus.

The final match against Saxony, which had the character of a final, once again demanded a lot of fighting spirit and team spirit from the Berlin team. With calmness and enthusiasm, the players consistently implemented the trained content and deservedly secured the tournament victory. It was particularly pleasing that all of the players were able to draw attention to themselves with positive actions and actively contribute to the high standard of the tournament.

Association sports coach Lukas Fechner: "We are very pleased with the team's performance, especially because they showed a great attitude in the face of all opposition. The players acted courageously in all games, took responsibility and showed important developmental steps. It is particularly noteworthy that they visibly implemented our key points and remained focused at crucial moments. The tournament was a valuable measure that impressively showed how well the players have developed over the past few months and what steps they need to take next."

The players were seconded from Hansa 07, Rixdorfer SV, 1. FC Union Berlin, Lichtenrader BC, Hertha BSC, Hertha 03 Zehlendorf, Köpenicker FC and Rot-Weiß Viktoria Mitte.
