This is new in the frame calendar

At its meeting on February 25, 2026, the Executive Committee of the Berlin Football Association approved various adjustments to the schedule for the current 2025/2026 season. Among other things, the original version provided for all Berlin state cup finals to be held on Ascension Day weekend from 13 to 17 May. For organizational reasons, some finals have now been rescheduled. The vacated dates have been filled by league matches that were originally scheduled in English weeks. In addition, the postponements of the upcoming Nike Youth Cup rounds and the numerous canceled league matches in the O-League due to the long general cancellation in January and February 2026 have been anchored in the new fixture calendar:

The updated fixture calendar - 2025/2026 season

Please note the following dates:

  • The finals in the Nike Youth Cup for B, C and D juniors will no longer take place on May 16, but on Thursday, May 14, 2026 (Ascension Day).

  • The women's Polytan Cup finals will no longer take place on May 17, but on Pentecost Sunday, May 24, 2026.

  • The finals of the BFV Junior Cup will no longer take place on May 16, but on Whit Monday, May 25, 2026.

  • The finals of the COSY-WASCH State Cup for 2nd, Lower and 7s men will no longer take place on May 16 and 17, but on Whit Monday, May 25, 2026.

  • The state cup finals of the A-Juniors on Wednesday evening, May 13, the Seniors and Altliga on Thursday, May 14 (Ascension Day) and the 1st Men's Cup on Saturday, May 23, 2026 will retain their scheduled dates.

  • The men's league match days, which were originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 29 (14-team and 12-team leagues), May 6 (16-team leagues) and May 13 (20-team and 18-team leagues), will now take place on the weekend of May 15-17, 2026.

  • The recently canceled round of 16 matches in the Nike Youth Cup due to weather conditions will now take place around Wednesday, March 4, 2026. The quarter-finals will now take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 instead of March 18.

  • In order to make up for the numerous matches canceled in the course of the long general cancellation, new dates for make-up matches were entered from May 13 to the end of June. For this purpose, the BFV Advisory Board approved the suspension of section 18 (10) of the match regulations in order to create the necessary flexibility for new fixtures.
