Indoor highlights in the capital

The squad of participating teams for the final rounds of the 2026 BFV Indoor Championships is filling up. Over the past two weekends, more teams have qualified for the battle for Berlin's Budenzauber title in mid-February. The final teams will follow on the upcoming weekends of January 24/25 and January 31/February 1, 2026.

Final rounds are filling up

After a number of logistical and organizational hurdles had to be overcome once again due to forced changes of venue at short notice, Berlin's sports halls were once again filled with action over four days in the last two weeks. A total of 20 teams finished first and second in their preliminary round groups and thus qualified for the final rounds of the Berlin Indoor Championships. New participants in the A-juniors are Viktoria Berlin, Stern Marienfelde, Berliner SC, Berliner Amateure, Empor Berlin, Füchse Reinickendorf, FV Wannsee and SF Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, in the C-juniors Tennis Borussia, SC Staaken, BFC Dynamo, Stern 1900, Berliner Amateure, Berolina Mitte, SF Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and Hertha BSC and in the C-juniors Union Berlin, FFC Berlin, Berliner Amateure and SC Charlottenburg. These teams join the ranks of the teams that had already advanced to the final rounds at the turn of the year(we reported).

The Berlin Football Association would like to thank all teams affected by last-minute venue changes for their flexibility and the volunteers on the committees for their organization and commitment. We will continue with the following preliminary round dates. Admission is free for all spectators.
