The Berlin Football Association invites girls to the elite school screening. The screening is for enrollment in the 7th grade or lateral entry in all other grades for the 2026/2027 school year.
Berlin has two elite sports schools that enrol girls, the sports school in the Olympiapark (Poelchau School) and the Flatow Oberschule in Köpenick. The sports schools in Berlin offer additional soccer training in the mornings, which is integrated into the school day. In addition, the school day at the locations is tailored to the competitive sporting development of the pupils.
In order to be accepted at one of the two schools, a sporting aptitude is required. This is determined by us as the regional soccer association in the assessment sessions. Any player who is registered with a Berlin club can take part in the trials, even if she has not yet taken part in a trial for the state selection teams of the Berlin Football Association.
Elite school places are awarded to those players who can recommend themselves in all of the trials.

The first screening will take place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (meeting point 4:45 pm) at the Wannsee Sports School (Am kleinen Wannsee 14, 14109 Berlin). Detailed information will be sent again by e-mail to all those registered shortly before the first screening date. The next sightings will take place on December 3, 2025 and January 13, 2026. More detailed information on the dates will follow at a later date.
There will also be an open day at Poelchau School on November 28, 2025, and Flatow High School will also be holding an information day on December 2, 2025, starting at 6 p.m.
