The German Deaf Sports Association (DGSV) is once again looking for talented players for this year's national deaf soccer and futsal teams for women, men and U23.
Many players with hearing impairments are active in hearing clubs but are not yet known to the DGSV. In order to reach these talents, the association, together with the Berlin Football Association, is calling for the call to be shared widely and for interested players to contact the DGSV directly.
World Championships on the horizon
The U23 World Championship will take place in Serbia in 2026 while the World Cup for the senior men's national team will take place in Australia a year later.
Interested players or coaches and clubs who would like to recommend talented players can contact the German Deaf Sports Association directly. The contact person is Markus Keil (Head of the Players' Network of the National Football Teams of the German Deaf Sports Association), 0176 520 99 542 / fussball@spam.dg-sv.de.
The DGSV is looking forward to receiving numerous responses and hopes to recruit many talented players.
