Excitement, fairness and emotion: Season finale of the 1st Inclusive Football League Berlin

Passion, sporting quality, fairness and genuine togetherness on and off the pitch: as a joint project of AOK Nordost, the Berlin Football Association and the Berlin Disabled and Rehabilitation Sports Association, the 1st IFLB has been a role model for inclusion in practice for over 15 years.

BWB remains the measure of all things - title only secured on the last matchday

Serial champions BWB (Berliner Werkstätten für Menschen mit Behinderung) once again lived up to their reputation as record winners and secured the title in the Verbandsliga once again this season. But it hasn't been this exciting for a long time: the decision was only made on the last match day - with a convincing 4:1 victory against SG Handicap Steglitz, BWB defended the top spot in the table and once again took the title.

Three-way battle for second place - Steglitz Inklusion secures runners-up spot

There was also excitement in the battle for the runners-up spot in the district league. In a thrilling three-way battle, Steglitz Inklusion finally prevailed and celebrated a strong season performance - a sign of the increasing sporting quality in the league.

Courage is rewarded: VfJ Kickers with an emotional first win of the season

The VfJ Kickers, who took the courageous step into the Verbandsliga this season, also earned great respect. Despite a difficult first season, they were never discouraged - and were rewarded on the final matchday: they secured their first three wins of the season with a much-celebrated victory.

LWB dominates the national league

The LWB team took the crown in the national league. With consistently strong performances, they secured the title - and have already announced their intention to upset the "big boys" of the Verbandsliga in the coming season. They are a real asset to the top division.

Tight decisions in the Landesliga midfield

It was particularly close in the midfield of the Landesliga. In the end, there were just four points between third and seventh place - proof of how balanced and exciting the league is across the board. Every game could make the difference and the joy of winning points was palpable everywhere.

NBW once again district league champions with a strong defensive performance

Team NBW left nothing to chance in the district league and confidently defended their title. Particularly impressive: only 5 goals conceded in 10 games - a defensive masterstroke that saw NBW deservedly crowned champions. They should start the new season with plenty of confidence.

A celebration for all - season finale as the highlight of the year

The last match day was not just a sporting highlight: with hands-on activities, a festive award ceremony with trophies and medals and the presence of representatives from sport and politics, the season finale was a real soccer festival. Players and coaches, families and fans celebrated inclusive sport together - living diversity on and off the pitch.
