Torfabrik to face the league leader in the Nike Youth Cup final

After the match, originally scheduled for Ascension Day, had to be canceled at the last minute due to ongoing association court proceedings, the time has finally come: The final of the Nike Youth Cup for D-Juniors will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Werner-Seelenbinder-Sportpark (Oderstraße 182, 12051 Berlin). Hertha BSC and Frohnauer SC, two true powerhouses in their age group, will face off in the match.

First step toward the double?

The final of the Nike Youth Cup for D-Juniors could mark the start of an extremely successful end to the season for both teams. Frohnauer SC currently leads the Berlin-Liga Division 1 standings. Last weekend, they defended their top spot in the top match against the second-place team from Tennis Borussia with a 2-2 draw. Prior to that, they had celebrated a streak of 14 consecutive competitive wins, including a 3-2 victory in the semifinal rematch against Viktoria Mitte. So Frohnau heads into the final on a winning streak!

Hertha BSC hasn’t given up on the “spot in the sun” just yet. With three league games remaining, Hertha currently sits in fourth place in the division, nine points behind Frohnau. To still qualify for the final of the Berlin Championship, they’ll need a bit of help, but perhaps Hertha will shake up the current balance of power in the cup final. In any case, the Blue-Whites enter the race for the double with an impressive 117 league goals. Their ticket to the final, however, was secured in an unusually close penalty shootout thriller against TeBe (7-6 on penalties).
