With support from LOTTO Berlin and *Fußball-Woche* (FuWo), the Berlin Soccer Association is once again seeking the capital’s best male and female soccer players, as well as the best amateur coach, for the fifteenth consecutive year. The association is looking for successors to last year’s winners: Elfie Wellhausen, Fabian Reese, Änis Ben-Hatira, and Karsten Heine. Voting is now open through July 31, 2026, and can be accessed via the Berlin Football Association’s website:

Since 2011, Fußball-Woche, LOTTO Berlin, and the BFV have been honoring the capital’s best professional male soccer player, best amateur male soccer player, and best female soccer player. Since 2012, the award for best amateur coach has also been presented. This year, the vote for Female Soccer Player of the Season—similar to the men’s category—will be divided into professional and amateur divisions, resulting in five voting categories for the first time.
