The Berlin referees are organized into 13 teaching communities (LG), in which the monthly training and further education is carried out on the basis of the DFB's teaching letters and the state instructor. Socializing and sporting aspects are also on the agenda here. Mentoring for young and new referees takes place in the teaching communities. Every referee in Berlin must join an LG, as information and documents are sent directly via this channel.
