030 eCup: Berlin console clash enters its third round

Attention fans of console sports: on Friday, January 16, 2026, the 030 eCup, Berlin's official city championship in eFootball, will enter its third edition. A total of 16 teams will compete in an exciting tournament on the PlayStation, at the end of which new eFootball champions will be crowned or Hertha BSC will defend its title. The tournament starts at 4:15 pm at XPERION Berlin (Saturn-Markt, Alexanderplatz 3, 10178 Berlin). Spectators are welcome and admission is free.

Who will qualify for the DFB-ePokal?

When the event is opened by presenter Tolga Santino, everyone in attendance can look forward to an exciting competition at the popular Berlin gaming venue. It starts with the group matches before the excitement reaches its peak in the knockout rounds and finally in the final. The aim is not only to determine the city champion in eFootball, but also to select the Berlin participant for the Community Qualifier for the DFB-ePokal powered by ERGO to be determined. The nationwide tournament has a total prize fund of 65,000 euros and is the highlight in the calendar of all eFootball fans. This year, the 030 eCup will also feature a "best of the rest round" for the first time, in which the teams that have already been eliminated in the group stage will play off for 9th place, which will also be honored on stage at the end. So there will be no boredom at this event!

Who will be crowned Berlin eFootball champion and secure the chance to play against the greats of German eFootball for the ultimate coup? Be there when things heat up on the console and cheer on the teams! Catering will be provided.
