Watch out, TEAM BERLIN! At its meeting on May 14, the BFV Presidium approved the calendar of fixtures for the 2025/2026 season. The document with all dates can now be viewed here:

Kick-off in summer and cup clash at Christmas

The new season will kick off on the weekend of August 10, 2025 with the qualifying round of the COSY-WASCH National Cup for the 1st and 2nd men. The next cup date is just one week later, on August 18, this time including the 7s and lower men. The league matches for the coming season will start on the weekend of August 24, when the men's Berlin League will kick off. The women will follow suit on August 31 with the start of the new season, before the seniors, youth and recreational matches begin on September 14. Here too, a regional cup match marks the start of the season.

The soccer year will come to an end mainly with catch-up matches. Before the winter break, the men's and senior teams in particular will once again be in action, with a cup date scheduled for December 21, 2025.

Marathon finals on Ascension Day

The first catch-up matches as well as matches in the recreational, senior and old league will potentially open the 2026 soccer year on January 11. The last dates of the season are then scheduled for July 5.

There is a special feature compared to previous years in the BFV state cup competitions: With the exception of the men's 1st division, all finals are scheduled for the Ascension weekend from May 13 to 17, 2026. All soccer fans can look forward to a veritable marathon of finals. According to the general schedule, the men's 1st team will play the final of the COSY-WASCH National Cup on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
