Since the end of December, the capital has been gripped by football fever. The official BFV women's, junior and youth indoor championships will be held over the course of almost a month and a half, at the end of which the Berlin champions in their respective divisions will be crowned. The first final round will take place on January 31, 2026.
Who will take the indoor throne?
It's all happening at the moment in Berlin: the final preliminary rounds of the B juniors will be played this coming weekend (see preliminary report), while the first junior teams are already heading into the final rounds. The Typensporthalle Olympiapark (Friedrich-Friesen-Allee / Block 5, 14053 Berlin) will be the venue on Saturday, January 31, when the D-junior girls duel for the Budenzauber crown, before the C-junior girls play for the title at the same venue the following day. Both final days start at 10:30 am.
The full load of final round action will then take place on the weekend of February 7/8, when a total of four final rounds will be played. On Saturday, the B-junior girls will fight for the title from 10:00 a.m. in the Werner-Seelenbinder-Sporthalle (Oderstraße 182, 12051 Berlin)*, while the B-junior boys will play out their new champion at 10:30 a.m. in the Gretel-Bergmann-Sporthalle (Rudolstädter Str. 77, 10713 Berlin). The women's finals will follow on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the Werner-Seelenbinder-Sporthalle (Oderstraße 182, 12051 Berlin)* and the final round of the A-juniors at 10:30 a.m. in the Gretel-Bergmann-Sporthalle (Rudolstädter Str. 77, 10713 Berlin). With the exception of the D-juniors, all winning teams will qualify for the NOFV Championships in mid-February.
