General cancellation extended until February 8

In view of the unchanged weather forecasts, the Berlin Football Association has extended the general cancellation originally scheduled until February 1 up to and including Sunday, February 8, 2026. The BFV is thus creating planning security for its clubs at an early stage and responding to the continued closure of the majority of Berlin's sports facilities by the district authorities.

All regular and recreational matches at BFV level continue to be affected. Test matches can take place if the pitches are individually playable. The responsible sports authorities must be consulted for this. Matches at NOFV and DFB level are also not affected by the general cancellation. Here, too, however, there may be an increased number of match cancellations. Indoor tournaments are expected to take place as planned. Compulsory matches scheduled for Monday will be canceled accordingly.

Women's and men's second half of the season will be postponed

As training for most of the Berlin teams will continue to be suspended, it has been decided to postpone the start of the second half of the season for the men's and women's teams in order to ensure adequate preparation. The games of the match weekend from February 13 to 15 will be postponed - for the men to the weekend of March 27 to 29, for the women the make-up date has not yet been determined.
