In addition to the website relaunch of the www.berliner-fussball.de domain in March 2025, the BFV's TEAM BERLIN APP also received its first comprehensive update. The application serves as a useful addition to the website and primarily offers interaction and booking options for the Berlin soccer family.
The most decisive innovation within the app is the personal area "MY CABIN", which can be accessed via the button on the start page or the menu bar in a created profile. In this area, the relevant booking and interaction options with the BFV are displayed for specific target groups depending on the roles (e.g. referee, player, club representative, etc.) that the user has assigned to themselves. Depending on the assigned role, "MY CABIN" can look different depending on the user profile. The familiar "TEAM BERLIN" area will continue to exist as a supplement, in which action-based participatory campaigns in particular are launched and the exchange within the Berlin soccer family is promoted (bulletin board, chat, etc.).
The four core areas of the BFV (talent development, match operations, qualification, social responsibility) can now be found under the menu item "TEAM BERLIN'S TOPICS" in the menu bar. In addition, the "MELDEBUTTON" for reporting cases of child protection, violence and discrimination can now be found on the homepage, while "BERLINS FUSSBALLKARTE" and the "CONTACT" to the BFV have been integrated into the menu bar.
