20 years of soccer and film: 11mm celebrates anniversary edition

From April 24 to 28, 2025, the 20th edition of the international soccer film festival 11mm will take place at the Colosseum Filmtheater. Organized by the Berlin-based association Brot & Spiele, the festival lists over 45 feature films, documentaries and short films from 17 countries, providing many new insights into the world of soccer.

The focus of this year's edition is on the series "Female footballers: Stories of Passion and Triumph". In impressive productions such as COPA 71, SPIELERINNEN and THE FOOTBALL AFICIONADO, some of the often overlooked stories of women's soccer will be told. The festival will open on April 24 with the premiere of Torsten Körner's new documentary MÄDCHEN KÖNNEN KEIN FUSSBALL SPIELEN - in the presence of the director, the producer and numerous protagonists of the film.

Prominent guests such as Ewald Lienen and Tony Woodcock are also expected to attend the anniversary edition. Another highlight of the festival: the best short films will be honored at the ShortKicks Gala on April 28.

Group tickets for clubs

This year, clubs also have the opportunity to purchase group tickets for the first time. These can be booked for groups of eleven or more, with admission then only costing 5 euros per adult and 3 euros per child.
