Admission procedure

Interested coaches in amateur competitive soccer at youth and adult level who wish to participate in the B-license training course must first successfully complete the admission procedure.

The following areas are checked as part of the procedure

  • Motivation for the B-license (presentation)
  • Personal background (presentation)
  • Presentation of the game idea (training video)
  • General content of the C license

Prerequisites

  • Valid C-license
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Submission of a training video
  • Access to a large field team

Frequently asked questions and answers

I am registered for the admission procedure, can I already register for the B license?

No, registration is only possible after successful completion of the admission procedure. Prior registration cannot be considered.

What are the special admission requirements?

Players with at least seven years of playing experience in the Bundesliga, Bundesliga 2 and the men's Bundesliga 3 (since its introduction in 2008) as well as the women's Bundesliga can participate in the B-license training without prior C-license training and without six months of coaching experience.

When and where do I have to submit the training video?

After the binding registration confirmation, you will receive an invitation link to the Edubreak learning platform. There you will find the video upload task. The submission deadline is displayed both during registration and on Edubreak.

When will I hear back whether I have been admitted?

As a rule, written feedback can take up to a week. You will be informed of the result by e-mail.

What happens if I am not admitted?

You can receive personal feedback on your assessment. You can then reapply at any time.

How long is my admission procedure valid?

A passed admission procedure remains valid for two years. You can register for the B license within this period.

What happens after that?

After successful completion, you can register for the B license training course. Please note that passing the admission procedure does not automatically guarantee you a place on the next possible course.
