DFB honors "Club 100"

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the DFB awards ceremony for this year's "Club 100" took place at the German Football Museum in Dortmund. In addition to DFB President Bernd Neuendorf and Vice President Peter Frymuth, third division referee Davina Lutz and former BVB goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller also took part in the event.

Since 1997, the DFB, in cooperation with the regional associations, has annually awarded the "DFB Honorary Award". Each club has the opportunity to nominate particularly committed volunteers for the award. A total of 257 winners are then selected from the nominations. The one hundred most committed volunteers are selected from all of the district winners as part of the "Club 100" and are accepted for one year. In addition to an invitation to the official DFB awards ceremony, these volunteers can also look forward to attending an international match of the senior national team. Within their clubs, the members of the "Club 100" receive another special award. As part of this honor, the club will be presented with two mini goals, adidas footballs and a symbolic plaque.

Two Berlin volunteers in this year's "Club 100"

Two volunteers from Berlin were also present at the awards ceremony last Saturday. Gerhard Krause (SV Blau-Gelb) and Christine Lehmann (SC Gatow) were delighted to receive an award and be included in this year's "Club 100".

The Berlin Football Association congratulates them on this award and thanks them for their commitment.
