The club dialog format will continue in the 2025/26 season, bringing the city's clubs into contact with the BFV's managers. In around 90 minutes, current topics from the club world are put on the agenda and discussed on site at the club premises. This time: CONO SUR and SC Berliner Amateure.
CONO SUR connects the Spanish-speaking community at the Poststadion
Since 2012, CONO SUR has been a home for many Spanish-speaking footballers in the city and for many other people who want to pursue their passion for soccer together. The association is also involved in providing organizational support to its members, some of whom are new to the city and can benefit from the experience of others.
The club dialog focused on expanding youth development and strengthening the infrastructure at the Poststadion. As a relatively young club with increasing membership numbers, many topics are being addressed for the first time, so the visit from the BFV presidium provided valuable information, contacts and assistance with the respective issues. The direct networking on site to support the upcoming organization of a children's soccer match day in November, information on the DFB point game and the other offers of club advice were very positively received by the club representatives present.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Berliner AK for providing the premises for the club dialog at the Poststadion.
AMA is an authority in the neighborhood and lives children's football
The BFV slogan "Because we need amateur soccer" is lived out by the Berlin amateurs, who have made the promotion of amateur soccer their main focus for many years. The "Estadio del Coerthe" opens up a whole new world and anyone who has been there can confirm that the focus here is not on the Champions League, but on urban neighborhoods, voluntary work and informal soccer for all age groups - especially for the youngest in children's soccer.
In the AMA meeting, the main topics were the effects of last year's contribution commission, match operations in children's soccer and the implementation of the so-called "play down" in Berlin soccer (the BFV will provide separate information on this shortly). Club advisor Julian Grittmann was also on site to provide information on the requirements and bonuses of the DFB points-based game and to hold out the prospect of a follow-up meeting to advise clubs.
With a view to the upcoming Association Day on November 22, 2025, the board situation for the amateurs was also discussed. The promotion of young volunteers is very important to the association and so a rejuvenation of the board has been successful in recent years and remains the goal of the current board members. The BFV is also still on the lookout for young volunteers, e.g. as a member of the Young Generation Executive Committee (see job advertisement). Clubs wishing to reward young volunteers for their existing commitment can once again nominate soccer heroes from their own ranks to the DFB(article).
The BFV looks back on two exciting visits to the grassroots and thanks its hosts for the lively exchange in the direct club environment. As a thank you, two ball sacks remained at the clubs to promote the core of club life: playing soccer in TEAM BERLIN.
